A delight indeed, friend!
There is nothing nobler or more admirable than when two people who see eye to eye keep house as man and wife, confounding their enemies and delighting their friends.

Well- it took me long enough to join the blogosphere- but now that I finally have, I keep hearing/reading on blogs of friends who are on Facebook too. I just thought of that as something that was for the just high school to college crowd-but I have friends who LOVE it. I even know someone who got an account to check in on her step kids- and ended up having a blast with it herself! So what's the deal about Facebook?
Getting loaded in...
...and reluctantly hopping off.
David jackhammering in the tool area...
The birthday boy is painting, while David and Cal do what they do best- play with construction vehicles!
David taking a turn with the roller...
Cal joins in the painting fun...this is moments before we end up painting each other accidentally:)

If you happen to live in the 'boro- or know someone who does- be sure to tell them about the new WhichWich that opened TODAY!!! It is next to Barnes and Nobles in the new Avenue shopping center. There is one in Cool Springs and one on West End too- but the new one in Murfreesboro is owned by some of our dearest friends!!! Go check it out! DELICIOUS!
My sweet baby was off to Mother's Day Out today. He will go one day a week- and he really seemed to enjoy himself! Of course, naptime was a bit of a challenge for the teachers this week- trying to explain to this little guy that he is to be still ...on a mat on the floor...with 7 other toddlers -will take a few weeks to sink in to say the least. The tears were short lived, for both of us:).
David HAD to get in a picture with him too- this is the best we did! He proudly announced to his teachers when hopped out of the car at his preschool that Dawson was going to Baby School today!!! He was so excited for his little brother! When Miss Dele asked if mommy was going to get a massage, nails done, or shopping- I replied truthfully that I was going home to do laundry and dishes:).

OK- so you may say that you aren't going to watch it- but if you didn't already- you have it Tivo'd for later. I admit- I watched the whole thing. My verdict on the series is still pending- but here are the burning questions I am left with at the end of the premiere:
Mini Margs #2 & 3-Dawson and Lucy dancing (Lucy's mom was a ballerina and Lucy started classes this week)
All ready to go! Doesn't he look so BIG?????
Practically climbing out the window to get to school. You can see the line of cars in the mirrors...
So obviously this was through the window- and it doesn't do anyone proper justice, but I thought it was precious- that is his teacher this year holding his hand, and the lady behind him was his teacher last year (who is holding my nephew's hand- although you can't see him). These women are the most Godly women you will ever meet. What a blessing for your child to be eager to go to school!
The "high" bar
After weeks of watching the girls on beam and me repeatedly saying, "Boys don't do beam at gym class", much to my chagrin, the beam was a part of the last day of class.
